The birds were quite beautiful this morning. The Blue Heron as it sailed across the lake was glorious. I love to watch all of them together. At night when I lie in bed often in the early morning I wake up to the sounds of the geese(Canadian) chatting. I wonder what they are talking about

The two mallard ducks, a male and a female, tare frequently in our yard eating the corn we put out there for them. I think they are a couple, and recently they have invited friends, another male and female couple. It is a real joy seeing them tuttle around the yarn, I much prefer this to morning TV.

Busy sighting red-winged black birds, house finch, white winged doves, sparrows, harriers, and kestrels in NM.

Lots of coots playing in the yard and eating the scattered corn. A mallard duck male and female pair were eating their breakfast early this morning.
